Dear sir,
Qurannet is a
Bahraini group that is moderating many websites related to Islamic
organizations and societies.
On Wednesday
23'rd Oct. 2002 all the websites that are under our responsibility were
blocked by the
inet team without any notation or
announcement.
The blocked
websites included:
This alias is
related to Quran championship.
This is a
personal website of A. Nabi Al-nashaba.
4- Quran
radio.
That is a link to the media files of the Holly Quran.
This website
cares about the Bahrain people support to the Palestinians.
and many
others...
The
news papers talked about this issue and the websites are returned up on Friday
25th Oct. 2002 without any notation or announcement again.We had emailed
abuse@batelco.com.bh
and followed that up by telephone calls and faxes sent to inet
helpdesk asking about the reasons behind blocking the site for around 38
hours, but our kind questions were answered with silence and ignorance.

We need any
exeplenation that we can face our customers with. And we are sure that Batelco
cares about it's public relation with the Bahraini companies and public
